TRANSPORTATION
Rates will vary according to your location, number of pets, and length of visit desired. All mileage charges will be calculated using map quest and rounded to the nearest mile.
Basic services and rates are listed below, however, at the free initial consultation, services can be tailored to meet individual needs.
PET SITTING
This service is beneficial for persons who want to go out of town , on vacation or business,and are seeking an alternative to boarding their pet at a kennel.I will provide individual loving care for your pet in the comfort of their own home while you are away.
PET SITTING VISIT ( up to 1/2 HOUR) $17.00/per VISIT
CATS ONLY $16/ VISIT
Each visit includes : Fresh food and water for your pets.Walks and/or play time outside for dogs.For the kitty's, cleaning/scooping litter boxes, cleaning up around them, play time with a favorite toy and most of all they will get lots of love and attention from a professional, caring pet sitter. Prices reflect care for up to four pets, and homes within a ten mile service area of my office in Hendersonville, TN.
ADDITIONAL PETS: $1 per cat and $2 per dog
HOUSES OUTSIDE SERVICE AREA WILL BE SLIGHTLY MORE
$17.00 per visit, plus .50 cents per mile, for miles exceeding beyond the ten mile service area.
EXAMPLE: Map Quest calculates Mr. X lives 15 miles away from my
office in Hendersonville.
PER VISIT FEE = $17 (standard charge) + .50 (cents per mile) X 5 (miles)=$2.50
$ 17 + $2.50 = $19.50 ( Fee per visit )
At no extra charge I will:
- Bring in the mail and papers
- Turn lights on/off
- Water small amounts of plants/flowers
- Take the trash out
- Feed fish and some other small pets
- Give oral medications
NOTE: Additional charges of $5.00 per each additional 15 minutes may apply if request for services such as watering large amounts of flowers/plants or giving medication to tempermental pets, exceeds the 1/2 hour visit. Charges and additional services to be agreed upon during the initial consultation except in an unavoidable emergency situation while the client is away and Pet Sitter must spend extra time to adequately take care of your pets.
MID-DAY VISITS
This service is great for persons who work long hours, have young/elderly pets or just want to give their pets some extra T.L.C. while they are at work. I will take your dog for a walk and give it a mid- afternoon snack or meal if you prefer.
MID-DAY VISITS ( 20- 30 mins. ) $17.00 per VISIT
ERRAND SERVICE
Do you sometimes feel that there are not enough hours in a day? Let me help you turn back the clock a few hours.I can do shopping trips to purchase a few items such as food and other supplies for you or your pets, wait for service/repair person,drop off or pick up mail/ packages at post office and prescription drop off/returns at pharmacy.NOTE:Prices do not include the cost of goods.

Drop off and/pick up your pet from the Vets, or groomers
PET TRANSPORTATION: ONE WAY $ 15.00

HOUSE SITTING
Water plants/flowers bring in your mail, turn lights on or off to give your home a " lived in" look, and check swimming pool. $ 16.00 per trip
REFERRAL PROGRAM
This program allows current clients to earn one free pet sitting visit for each person they refer that books a minimum of three visits with Home Comfort Pet Sitting.
No limits on referrals however, FREE VISITS MAY NOT be redeemed during peak holiday seasons.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
- Visits to be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance. (In emergency situations every effort will be made to accomadate you if at all possible.)
- An extra $5 per day will be added to the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day, and the 4th of July.
- Payment due at time of service, otherwise a $10 PROCESSING FEE MAY APPLY
- Holiday visits should be booked no later than one month in advance.
- Cancellation fees apply to Holidays only.
HOLIDAY CANCELLATION FEE
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before your first scheduled visit are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 4 days before your first scheduled visit are subject to 100% cancellation fee unless the spot that you held can be filled.
KEY RETURN POLICY
- If I keep your key for future pet sitting visits it will be descretely labeled and kept in a locked safe when I am not working for you. I will be happy to return your key upon completion of services and pick it up before your next departure however,a $5.00 return fee as well as a $5.00 pick up fee will apply.
MINIMUM VISIT POLICY
During my 14 years as a professional pet sitter I have become aware of the mishaps that can occur when pets are left to their own devices and their psychological need for frequent human contact. For the well being of your pets, at the very least, they must be seen on a daily basis.Under no circumstances can I agree to scheduling visits every other day.
